New Beginning for Youth is a non-profit organization that is hosting it's 5th Annual Midwest Shoot-Out. The Midwest Shoot-Out is a Pro-am Basketball Tournament that was created to bring coaches, players, families and fans to a truly unique event. This tournament consists of only the best ballers including players from the NBA and from professional overseas leagues, representing teams from various Midwest states. The Midwest Shoot-Out was specifically designed to allow players the opportunity to demonstrate their talents in front of professional scouts and agents in a competitive; yet, entertaining environment. If you are a fan, come out to watch and support your favorite team and or players throughout the area.
This year the Midwest Shoot-Out will be spread over three full days of double elimination games with a single elimination final event. The Midwest Shoot-Out will be held the weekend of July 11-13th at Briggs High School. We will be hosting two tournaments: a Men's Division and a Women's Division. The championship teams from these events will receive cash awards.
Contenders will be coming from Ohio,Tennessee, Michigan, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, West Virginia, Indiana, New York & Washington D.C., all bringing their "A" Game for a shot at CASH PRIZES & the title of "Best In the Midwest". So hurry! Space is limited!!
